Our schematic custom lace creates a graphic architectural look throughout the hem band of the Sorvino Skirt; Contrasting the luxurious opaque softness of the recycled cashmere and sheer lace with binding detail. Fitted through the waist and hips and flared towards the sweep. The lace featured in this piece is custom-made and based on the geometry of the Mitla Ruins(located on MonteAlban). The Xicalcoliuhqui motif was used specifically in the spiral wave aspect of the design. Our crochet appliqués and embroideries are based on on the Birth of Moon drawings and lines which connect the phases of the moon.
